As the picture above suggests I owe a big thank you to everyone who helped me achieve my target . THANK YOU ! There are still a few donations to be put on this web page and I know that when added the figure collected will be over £31,000 inc Gift Aid. This brings the total raised by my friends, customers and suppliers to over £100,000 during the past three years through sales of Calendar Girl Chocolates and by participating in Beefy’s Great Forget- Me-Not – Walk !!

As for the walk itself I met so many people who have left me with memories that will last a life time. Whether it was the children suffering from Leukaemia or the many personalities supporting Beefy’s crusade to create awareness and raise money. As for myself, it took a while to come down from the huge ‘high’ that I was on and to come to terms with my regular routine again. It also took a while for my body to recover from the 10 days of pounding it took from being on the road and ‘walking’ at such a speed ! In actual fact I had to jog most of the way !

Thanks to Sarah for organizing the walk so efficiently and to all the back up crew who helped us get through the walk.In particular I would like to say thanks to Dave ‘Rooster’ Roberts and his team of physios whom I needed more than most !
