**UPDATE 1st March:  We completed the walk! Apart from a few sore feet, we're all well and had a great day. This page is stil live, so you're welcome to still make donations below. All funds will go directly to the British Heart Foundation.***

Hi there

On the 1st March 2009, we will be walking 10 miles through the Derbyshire countryside in aid of the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

The BHF do some excellent work to save lives though their research, education, campaigning and care for heart patients. 

It's a subject close to our heart (pun intended) as we have a long family history of heart disease and have benefitted from the care and support provided to family members through their illnesses. 

So we're taking our heart for a walk and joining the BHF 10 mile walk to help raise funds for the work they do. Our fit and healthy 70 year old mum is a very keen walker and so the two of us are now in training to ensure we keep up with her on the 1st March!
