Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I am cycling from Roscoff in Northern France to Santander in Northern Spain with my good friend, Ralph Hare. We are departing on 5 May and returning on 21 May 2009. This challenge is one of about 1200 km (or 700 miles). It should be reasonably easy cycling down the west coast of France - but then we have to cross the margins of the Pyrenees and the mountains of Northern Spain: much more of a challenge!

The photo on the left shows me at Ilfracombe, at the beginning of the Devon Coast to Coast ride which we did as a training session.

In April 2007 I had a major heart attack whilst in Spain, but I have made a good recovery as a result of a lot of support from family and friends. I have found the BHF to be very helpful and I would like to use this adventure to help the charity in recognition of their good work.
