Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.  We are doing this walk with Beefy in support of all the great work he has done for Leukaemia Research over the years.

We are also doing it in memory of our Daughter Gemma.  Gemma offered strong views to her consultant about the need for Young Adult Cancer Wards and she suggested that Gemma should meet Beefy in Birmingham in 2006 who was doing his marathon walk to raise money for that cause.  Unfortunately Gemma was too poorly to attend so It will help us to achieve one of Gemma`s wishes.

Gemma, through local press and radio, also promoted people to register as Blood and Stem Cell Donors because she wanted to help others.  We would like to do the same, so if you cannot donate cash in support of our walk, please donate blood instead, it`s free.  Donating blood and cash would be fantastic.
