Thanks for visiting The Spare Tyres fundraising page. The Spare Tyres is a team of six, forty-something men - Paul Cook, Gregg Cox, Bruce Dixon, Steve Offer, Will Osterburg and David Suckling - in need of regular exercise and a purpose in life. Hence, they took on the 54 mile bike ride from London to Brighton on the 21st June 2009 to burn off some excess fat and to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. Despite a few hangovers and training injuries they all completed the ride, even conquering the ride's infamous Ditchling Beacon. This is the page where you can make a donation and show six old men a bit of appreciation for the pain their bottoms have endured over the last few months.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
