Dear Friends: Thank you for visiting the combined "Sons of Zeus" and "Cash, Credit and Chris" Trailwalker webpage with the intention of sponsoring our teams in the July 18/19 charity event. All eight of us have committed body and soul to completing a grueling test of physical endurance and mental toughness covering 100 kilometers (approximately 62 miles) of hilly terrain in beautiful southern England. All individuals must complete the entire 100K course, and each team of four must finish as a group in less than 30 hour! Last year the Sons of Zeus, formerly known as the Cash Quadrupeds, completed the event in under 22 hours despite stress fractures, record-setting blisters, several lost toenails and serious chafing. Notwithstanding unanimous agreement that we would “Never Do This Again!” immediately following last year’s event, we’re back and looking to improve our time to less than 20 hours. Our colleagues on the Cash, Credit and Chris team were apparently jealous of our physical injuries and have signed-on as well. Motivation for our individual participation in this year’s event includes a need for stress-relief in a challenging market, attempting to stay “forever young”, getting back-in-shape, team building, exhibiting the State Street spirit, and doing something that yields a medal upon completion (note that our spouses and significant others would likely attribute our participation to a general lack of common sense and delusions of grandeur!). The true motivation for our participation in theTrailwalker challenge, however, is to raise money for a wonderful charity that benefits people living in impoverished parts of the world through delivering the basic necessities of life (food, clean water, shelter, education). This can only be achieved through your generous support, which we respectfully seek and gratefully accept. Sponsorship of our teams is simple and safe through this website, and one donation provides sponsorship for both teams!
Thank you in advance for your generous support. Sons of Zeus Cash, Credit and Chris Matt Steinaway Pia McCusker Todd Bean Peter Hajjar Neil Hutchison Sean Dillon Steve Meier Chris Morley
