My story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I've been mountain biking now for about 6 years and decided it's time I did something for charity, so I've thrown myself in at the deep end and gone for the toughest "ULTIMATE" option of BHF's Dark Peak ride in the Peak District. 40 miles might not sound like such a long way but off road in that kind of terrain it's a very tough challenge. I'm used to riding about 18-20 miles at a time so I'bve been training pretty hard for it.
MBR (Mountain Bike Rider) magazine reviewed the middle half of my route in their September mag and stated that its tough enough to challenge even the fittest of riders. I've signed up for DOUBLE that !
Thanks for any support you are able to offer, whatever the size and if this event is a success I'll try something tougher still next time.
