My story

I am climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro for charity.

This has got to be one of the craziest, yet inspirational, things I have ever done.  From running 1/2 marathons, skydiving, and skiing on a black diamond after only having done a bunny slope once (I got on the wrong lift), I have had my share of experiences, but this will take the cake.  And it's fantastic, because this time, it's not just for me, it's for a great cause. 

All proceeds will support VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) programs in line with Accenture's Skills to Succeed Corporate Citizenship program and other projects in the East Africa region.  VSO is committed to helping the poorest regions of the world address issues spanning: HIV and AIDS, disability, participation and governance, secure livelihoods, education, health and well-being.  I will have the opportunity to visit one such project and witness first-hand the difference your support will make.  For more information, please visit the campaign website at:  http://treks.vso.org.uk/kili2011/

Your support will enable me to meet my donation goals and further advance the VSO agenda.  Note that this is a UK based charity, so you will have to convert your donation from US dollars into British pounds.  Every donation (large and small) is appreciated!
