Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As most of you are aware we had a great result, both in our fundraising and the race last year, (61st out of over 1800 yachts!) and this year we are hoping to do even better!!  The drug Aberaterone attracted a lot of publicity, including a full page article in the Daily Mail featuring Yours truly!! Unfortunately it stopped being effective in November.......

Having declined chemotherapy and a form of radiotherapy, I am now on another drug trial but the results of this trial are a little more difficult to detect requiring regular CT scans

My original prognosis on life expectancy is about to be exceeded. This is entirely due to all of you supporting me and this charity. I am however experiencing some fatigue these days.... It is with this in mind, that I anticipate this may well be my last race as skipper.  I thankyou from the bottom of my heart for all the encouragement you have given to me and for the support you have given to this great charity. Please give as much as you can afford....
