SIA is the national organisation of the UK's 40,000 spinal cord injured people. SIA provides a helpline, conducts research, campaigns and offers a peer advice network, a link Scheme and a website. SIA believes that life needn't stop when you're paralysed.

My personal message:

Well, I did it!!

Despite all the injury problems I had during my last few weeks of training, I dragged my heavy carcass around that 26.2 miles in 4hrs, 16mins and 10seconds. The Marathon itself was one of the most amazing experiences of my life - the crowd and atmosphere are absolutely out of this world, so good in fact, that the very first thing I did this morning was get my entry off for next years!

Thank you to all of you who have made donations, your generosity has been touching, and your money will empower the SIA to continue to do some very worthy work with, and on behalf of, some very worthy people.
