My story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
As most of you know my mum had life-saving open heart surgery two years ago and also my friend and neighbour Simon Davis had the same operation last year and is back to full health. To give something back to the many dedicated doctors, surgeons and researchers who pioneered the techniques that saved his life, and who might also pioneer techniques to save others in the future, Simon has organised an arduous challenge for three of us - Simon, me and another friend from the village - to complete the London to Paris cycle ride in June, from the Tower of London to the Eiffel Tower. I would be delighted if you were able to sponsor me. I am paying for all of the expenses myself, so every £ raised will go directly to the British Heart Foundation.
