My story
A quem já doou através da Just Giving, um enorme obrigada em nome da VSO e das milhares de vidas que estão a tocar. O trabalho desta ONG é especialmente fascinante porque se trabalha sempre no sentido do empowerment, através do incentivo de uma atitude participativa cada vez mais forte por parte dos locais. Nós estaremos ali de passagem e temos que ter sempre esta ideia em mente. Mais, não existe qualquer ligação com uma ou outra religião. A minha passagem pela Guiana terá a duração de 2 anos, onde irei trabalhar com professores e respectivos conselheiros, numa área remota, na região 8.
Sempre que a electricidade e a internet o permitirem, actualizarei o meu blog. A morada é fácil: raquelvso.blogspot.com/ (não precisam do http:// para nada!)

I'm going to volunteer for 2 years in Guyana and in average each 2 year volunteer will cost VSO £ 26 000.
