*******************Update**********************

We are over half way!

Thank you for your massive generosity and your help with raising the funds.

I cant believe how many ideas people have come up with. We have a 'Shirt & Tie Competition' in one office, a Valentines Day event in another. Friends are donating a 'round of drinks' which is going a really long way (not that they are alcoholics of course!)

I can confidently say that every single penny is going towards making a better life for these kids. These childrens' immediate needs are being met thanks to you!

If we suceed in hitting the target we will be able to guarantee school places for the children and hopefully contribute towards a bus to take them to school. Liz xxxxx ********************************************* Due to the recent tsunami, hundreds of children in South East Asia are now orphans, adding to the already overwhelming problem in this region. I have just arrived home after working for 8 months in an Orphanage in Thailand which has been the most difficult yet most rewarding experience I have ever had. Living with these children I really witnessed first-hand just how crucial it is for them to have a safe home, somewhere to sleep and eat. Somewhere to keep them away from the streets which inevitably leads to drugs, gangs and little ones being sexually exploited. Our Orphanage is now expecting many children to be arriving at their home who have been orphaned due the tsunami. We want to be able to provide a haven for these children, medical attention, counsellors, an education, love and support, a home, a future. To do this we desperately need your help!! These children have lost their homes, families, everything they have ever known! Please don't let them give up hope. I realise that many of you have already given to the tsunami funds but I hope you can help this specific cause so no child has to be turned away. Please give generously (massively!) for this on-going project. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Pattaya Orphanage Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Please support this worthy cause as best you can. Every penny makes a huge difference to an Orphan's life in Thailand. Thank you so so much for your support.
