Whizz-Kidz aims to improve the quality of life of disabled children and young people in the UK through the provision of customised mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and tricycles. It is dedicated to providing help and advice to the children and their families and raising awareness of mobility-related issues through national campaigning. Please sponsor Whizz-kidz for my London marathon.

The reason I sponsored Whizz-kidz is that it occurred to me that if Calum had survived he may well have needed mobility equipment.

Whizz-kidz suport for families include's those with children registered as being too disabled to benefit from mobility equipement. In these circumstances the charity has provided specially adapted motorised chairs, that have changed their lives.

My target is £14,000 because the average cost of a powered wheel-chair, with the required assessment is £7,000, and I like the idea that there will be two out there with Calum’s name on.
