The Meningitis Trust is the UK’s longest established meningitis charity. It helps around 20,000 people each year through its range of specialist services; giving vital support to those who have been affected by this life-changing disease. With as many as 500,000 people living in the UK who have had either viral or bacterial meningitis and up to one adult in every four knowing someone who has had meningitis, the charity’s ongoing work is much-needed. The charity is committed to raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of meningitis and distributes millions of leaflets, posters, symptoms cards, information sheets and other materials every year.

Hi guys, well after a couple of attempts at doing half marathon's, the powers at be, now seem to think i am ready for a REAL race!!!  Look out London, here i come!!!!

Yes i know you probably already give money to some charity or another, yes i know that this might sound like yet another begging webpage yes i know all of that but please please please help me........... you were right, this IS a begging webpage!!

So come next april 13th i;m gonna be an official athlete ( and probably the most boring man in england!), which is gonna take a hell of a lot of training, and a shed load of determination. 

All i'm asking you guys to do, is sponsor me a few quid, so that i can help raise as much money as possible for the Meningitis Trust. I'll do all the hard stuff, if you can just spare me a little (or a lot!!) of your hard earned money and help me give a little bit back, to the charity that really needs it.

I know i'm starting to babble on now, but ..... aswell as sponsoring me, can you please ask everyone you know, to visit this site and sponsor me, even if 100 extra people read this and they all sponsor me just a single pound, well that will be..... bear with me.................... hang on minute...........   nearly there................................ oh i don't know, anyway it will be a lot, and it will really help out those lovely people at The Meningitis Trust
