Thank you for visiting the fundraising page of The Reluctant Veterans Mark 2. This second version of The Reluctant Veterans team has now completed The Trailwalker event. It took us 29 hours and 16 minutes but all four of us managed to cross the finishing line. We are very proud that we managed to do what we promised, something which has taken five months of training to achieve. There were many blisters, aching leg muscles and much cramp but it was worth it to raise this money for Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust. We have also been fundraising for five months, using gentle persuasion, more forceful persuasion, treasure maps, sponsor forms and a jazz concert. Our fundraising efforts continue as we have until September 30th to send our money in. If you have not already done so please consider supporting us.
