The British Heart Foundation was an enormous help when he was in hospital regarding his heart problem.  They were constantly in touch with me, keeping me updated regarding the new techniques available for surgery and what was expected after the surgery.  He ended up having a 7 hour heart surgery, where his heart had been put on a heart bypass machine at only 2 weeks old.  Their support was greatly appreciated at an unfortunate time.  Unfortunately they did not have enough funding to provide simple booklets to give to families regarding their particular heart condition and they were also limited on providing  more information and help.  With more funding through sponsorship and donations the British Heart Foundation can provide support to other families.
