Money raised during Trailwalker goes to Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT), to fund their work tackling poverty and suffering. Oxfam works all over the world; GWT works specifically in Gurkha communities in Nepal. Hi,

I get lots of positive comments (see below) from the videos I put up regularly on YouTube but the best thanks I can have is your donation to OXFAM. I hope the videos are helping you to a better grade. If so please spare a moment to help me in return to raise money for OXFAM as a way of saying thank you.

I am always encouraged by all the donations and comments I get and I will endeavour to keep putting up more and more when I can in between my normal teaching.

If you knew me, you would know that I love a challenge and to raise money for charity. I have run 5 London marathons in the last few years raising money for various charities.

This years challenge is to raise money for OXFAM.

In July I did the OXFAM Trailwalker challenge. Trailwalker is a 100 km hike over the South Downs which has to be completed in under 30 hours. I did it and completed it in 22 hours and 11 minutes. I'm the one on the left in the photo. Even though I have completed the challenge, I still want to reach my target of £2000 so please keep those donations coming in. OXFAM needs your help.
