North Tyneside 10k in 51 mins
Great Edinburgh 10k in 53:58
Blaydon Race in 47:27
North East Cyclone 62 miles in 4hrs 10 mins
Great North 10k in Sunderland in 48:32
I am arranging to run Six road races in 2009, The North Tyneside 10k (normally the first weekend in April), Great Edinburgh run 10k (Sunday 3rd of May),The Blaydon Race 5.7 miles (June), The Great North 10k (July 12th), Great North 10k (July 12th) and The Great North Run (Sunday 4th October).
I am also looking to do the Hebburn Triathlon (Swim(pool)-400m/Bike-20k/Run-5k - Sunday 2nd of August). Which will be a big ask as I have never took part in anything like this before.
I am also taking part in the Northern Rock Cyclone. A cycle ride for 62 miles on June 13th and the Great North bike ride (50 miles)
I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Marie Curie Cancer Care as they have recently taken care of my Father-in-law William 'Billy' Batey who passed away on Sunday 19th of October 2008 he had a brain tumour for 2 years. I would like to thank the nurses for their work, by doing these challenges I hope to give something back. So please donate as much as you can during this credit crunch.
