I did it ! It was fantastic, literally loved every minute and not suffering too much as a result. I passed the Masai Warriors and a few bananas, had a chat to Batman but could not catch the Cornish Pasty ! My time was 4 hours 41mins, not bad for a 'veteran' and just where I wanted it Thank you for your support, which bearing in mind I had thought I might have to make up a shortfall to £1500 has been overwhelming. Keep it coming! When you can run 26 miles (and I'd like to point out there was no walking) you appreciate your health, and being able to do some good. I'm running to raise money for the Parkinson's Disease Society. My mother in law has Parkinson's Disease so it is a charity both close to home and close to our hearts. I honestly believe that in our lifetimes we are going to see enormous breakthroughs in managing this crippling disease. Won't it be exciting to think we have been part of that. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society will receive your money faster and if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you. So please sponsor me now. Many thanks for your support. Lucy
