Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People
Martin House provides care and support, free of charge, to families in which there is a child or children with a short life expectancy. Its aim is to provide a home from home with a lively friendly atmosphere where children and their families can enjoy the best quality of life.

It's all over! What a fantastic day - a bit on the warm side, but it meant there were lots of enthusiastic crowds all along the marathon route. It couldn't have been more of a contrast to those Sunday morning 20 mile training runs around Leeds in the cold! I finished in 3:52 (not far behind Sally Gunnell!). I've definitely got the marathon bug now... Thanks so much to everyone who has donated so far - all the money goes to Martin House, the Yorkshire hospice for children and young people, which relies almost entirely on voluntary donations. This webpage will be open until 22nd June 07 for donations. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
