About our charity : Leuka Leuka
Founded in 1982 by leukaemia patient Lester Cazin, Leuka (formerly known as Leuka 2000) is a registered charity dedicated to raising funds to support research into the causes and treatment of leukaemia at London's Hammersmith Hospital. At the forefront of clinical and scientific advances for the past thirty years, the specialist unit at the Hammersmith already has an international reputation for excellence and innovation.

Last year we raised £18k and are the inaugural winners of the JP Morgan Round the Island Charity Cup. Help us win the Charity Cup in 2009 for Leuka, which undertakes world class research into cures for leukaemia and related cancers, with amongst the best survival rates internationally.

With your donation you can support scientists and doctors develop treatments that will make cancer no more ominous than a common cold in the years ahead!

£5 buys a batch of test tubes. £50 funds the chemicals needed identify leukaemia cells. £100 contributes to the cost of equipment for identifying mutant genes. Thank you for your support of Leuka in 2009.
