On average, every month, there are 10 major accidents in the fishing industry and two vessels lost; thousands of veterans still need help in their old age, having risked their lives for this country; many ex-seafarers face unemployment and homelessness. Seafarers UK provide vital support for these and many others.

Hello

it's all over!! thanks to everyone who has sponsored me. It really means a lot and was invaluable motivation to keep me running through the pain.

My final time was 3:40:44 which i'm really happy with.

I guess it goes without saying that donations are still more than welcome!

As you will see I am running for Seafarers UK. They are the leading maritime charity looking after people across the UK from the Royal Navy, the Merchant Navy and fishing fleets, together with their families. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for seafarers as well as promoting maximum efficiency in the maritime charity sector.

As I work for the charity I can certainly vouch for the fact that  the charity does fantastic work up and down the country and that your money will go to an extremely worthwhile cause.
