My personal message:

In October I shall be doing The Great Wall of China trek with the aim of raising as much as money as possible for Make a Wish Foundation Charity. The 65km trek over a 5 day period is not quite a walk in the park ... more like a challenge along twisting, winding and crumbling paths. Spurring me on will be the fact that 100% OF THE MONEY I RAISE WILL BE GOING TO A VERY WORTHWHILE CAUSE. Make a Wish Foundation aims to grant magical wishes to children with either life-threatening or terminal illnesses. There are currently 20,000 children in the UK in this position. I believe these children deserve to experience the magic of Make a Wish, which can transform a child's life, or what remains of it. £20 could pay for: A sparkly tiara to turn a little girl into a princess for the day. £50 will buy: The special outfit for a boy who wants to be a soldier or fireman for the day. £80 gives: A family of four a swish lunch out and time to relax and enjoy each others company. £150 could pay for: A mini tuxedo for a boy wishing to be James Bond. £200 will buy: A magical swim with the dolphins at Florida's Discovery Cove. £350 buys: A VIP hospitality ticket for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Old Trafford to see Manchester United play. £1,000 pays for: Family accommodation at Disneyland Paris. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. If you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
