My story

Ok, to make it a bit more interesting I thought I'd run TWO marathons this coming April instead of the customary one. Actually a friend conned me into the second one - the Shakespeare Marathon the week after London.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!

You'll know that the day of the London Marathon was hot. That combined with a certain lack of training saw me finishing with a smile in 5.05.14. Shakespeare Marathon was cooler although still a very pleasant day for late April. I ran with that friend and managed to complete in 4.49.58!!! That last long training run obviously did the job.

I've done the mad thing now it's down to you to raid your piggy bank in support of homeless people. It's not half as difficult as what I did

If you want to know more about the work Crisis does for homeless and badly housed people then visit their website. Or, go to my blog for tales of Open Christmas 2006. Or ask me! Your money really does make a difference.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Crisis will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
