Leukaemia Research is the only national charity dedicated exclusively to funding research throughout the UK into the causes, treatments and cures of all blood cancers, including lymphomas, myeloma, myelodysplasia and aplastic anaemia.

Our personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
The purpose of this run is to raise as much money as possible for Leukaemia Research in the hope that others can benefit from the care and support the charity helps provide for all who are affected by this disease.

It has been an extremely difficult and traumatic year for all of the family, especially Julia, who has battled through all of the challenges she has faced with a huge amount of courage and conviction.

Sadly Julia lost her fight against AML and died on August 19th 2009. She will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Today we all completed our run for what will be the first of many fund raising efforts. Our next step is to establish our own charity in memory of Julia. We hope you will continue to support us in the future.
