My story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
We are the Caldew Wanderers - Judy, Diane, Alison, Lee and Crew Support Steve and Peter.
We recently took part in the ultra-tough Trailwalker challenge. Organised by Oxfam and the Queen's Gurkha Signals Regiment Trailwalker is an endurance challenge in which participants aim to walk 100km of the South Downs Way in under 30 hours.we are now home, nursing a few blisters, loose toenails and tendonitis, but still smiling!
We are raising money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust. These organisations share a purpose - to end poverty and change lives for good. Put in context, every £20 you donate could provide safe drinking water for 15 people. It's no exaggeration to say that this can be literally life-saving to people with no access to clean water.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Oxfam Trailwalker gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you.
