The Ellen MacArthur Trust
The Ellen MacArthur Trust takes young people aged between 8-18 sailing to help them regain their confidence, on their way to recovery from cancer, leukaemia and other serious illness.
Sailing is perfect for these children; it gives them a chance to test themselves in a safe and supportive environment. Simply the experience of going out on the water for the first time is an adventure. Each child has the challenge of helping sail the yachts throughout the voyage and takes part in all aspects of the trip from sailing the yacht to the washing up!
The children come from all over the country, including Northern Ireland, London, Essex, Sheffield, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Kent, Nottingham & Ellen’s birthplace, Derbyshire.

Thank you for visiting the fundraising page for the JPMorgan Employee Team Round The Island challenges.... Round The Island Yacht Race: Bournemouth and London staff are competing in this years yacht race round the Isle of Wight. They will be racing round the island along with 1,800 other boats in the worlds largest and most famous yacht race. Round The Island Bike Challenge: Staff will be cycling round the Isle of Wight. The course is 62 miles, and the challenge is to beat the fastest of the boats in the yacht race. This is the third year we are competing in these events. We raised so much money and had such a great time last year, we are here again, and would really appreciate all donations, large or small. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
