Leukaemia Research is the only national charity dedicated exclusively to funding research throughout the UK into the causes, treatments and cures of all blood cancers, including lymphomas, myeloma, myelodysplasia and aplastic anaemia.

My personal message:

Thanks for finding your way to my page. To bring you up to date, I completed the run in a time of 1 hour 54 minutes which is 3 minutes better than last year.

We had a wonderful weekend, made all the better by the brilliant sunshine and all the people that we met all raising money for their various charities.

One of the events which really spurred me on was the Red Arrows flying overhead as we crossed the Tyne bridge just after the start.

A huge thank you to all of you who have sponsored us, we're well on target, and if you can get a few others to do the same, we'll get there.

If we can continue to raise enough money, we will find a complete cure in just a matter of years and people will not have to go through the heartache of not knowing if the treatment will work and how long they have with their loved ones.
