My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.The BHF is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and as the London to Paris event co-incides with a special birthday I have in September, I thought it would be a good way to celebrate!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation

Many participants for this event were undertaking the event in teams/relay. However, I hadnt found anyone to join me to form a team and pedal! Therefore, I cycled around 90 miles per day for 3 consecutive  days - yes, a real challenge for me ....so your sponsorship was vital to encourage my training regime and spur me on when the going got tough!  It was a fantastic experience and the hilly terrain meant that your donations have been well earned!

In addition to this site, I have a sponsor form with an other additional £250+ pledged.  All in all I am now close to hitting the £1k mark in sponsorship for the BHF. This site will be live for some weeks to come, so although I have completed the event successfully, it is not too late to give!  It would be great to make it £1,000 mark
