My story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
A quick word about myself and why I am running for the BHF Charity. In December 2006 I had a heart attack due to my main artery being 99% blocked caused by coronary heart disease. Thankfully I was one of the lucky 50% who survive and this was due to Heart Research which has enabled me and many others to benefit. I had 3 stents fitted and was able to recover to be with my wife and two young sons. I am running this half marathon to raise funds in support of continued research into the number one killer 'Heart Disease'. It can strike all ages; babies, people in their prime, its not just the elderly who are at risk. Please support this very worthy charity.
