About my charity : Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. We've changed our name from Leukaemia Research to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to better communicate the breadth of our work and support more blood cancer patients than ever before. Thank you for supporting us in our 50th year. Your contribution really will make a difference to the lives of the 28,500 people diagnosed every year with a blood cancer.

Hello

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. There are all sorts of worthy causes you could lend your time and offer your money to, but having watched a close friend battle through this disease and having lost family to other forms of cancer, Leukaemia Research is as worthy as any!

I thought if I'm going to ask people to donate hard earned currency in the difficult times we live in then I had better take the training seriously. So I've embarked on a regime designed by my dad, and having been at it for a few weeks now I'm not sure what I did to upset him. Training for this race is long and boring, I can tell you that for free, so your contributions are about the only thing that will guilt trip me into keeping up this charade.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure, and if you’re a UK taxpayer don't forget to agree to gift aid which will result in a greater donation at no extra cost to yourselves.

Any contribution made is significant and will be gratefully received, whatever you can spare. May I extend one last big thank you for your generosity and making me look popular in the eyes of the good people at Leukaemia Research.
