My story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

On 12th July 2009, Alan Peter Surdgess (Pete), Ian's Dad and Bev's father-in-law died suddenly of cardiac failure in Kettering Hospital. Not only is the 7th November the New York Marathon, but it is also Bev's 50th birthday, and what better way to celebrate your 50th birthday than to run the New York Marathon. So we are both running to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Pete.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
