My story

Hey everyone, I did it!
On 18th April 2004 I ran 26.2 miles in 4 hours' 17 minutes and 50 seconds. I am not sure, but I think this means I won it. I got a medal so that would seem to confirm my suspicions.
And best of all I didn't die, though there were times in the day or two afterwards that I wished that I had.
So please give me some money to celebrate this achievement. It all goes to SCOPE (a charity dedicated to helping people with cerebral palsy and not as I had first hoped an organisation that provides telescopes for the disadvantaged. Never mind. It is still a good cause.)
You can read about my Marathon adventures in warming up at www.richardherring.com.

Please sponsor me online.

It's the most efficient way for me to raise funds for my charity. If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you.

Both myself and my chosen charity really appreciate your donation. Any amount will make a difference but please try to give generously!

Many thanks.
