Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. We've changed our name from Leukaemia Research to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to better communicate the breadth of our work and support more blood cancer patients than ever before. Thank you for supporting us in our 50th year. Your contribution really will make a difference to the lives of the 28,500 people diagnosed every year with a blood cancer.

Because I have set up this page to raise money for a very, very worthy cause - Leukaemia Research - who I will be running for in this year's Run to the Beat on September 27.

Run to the Beat is a half-marathon in London, but I will be running it is a slightly unique way...

I WILL BE DRESSED AS A BANANA!

Yes, that's right.

I will be dressed as a banana (see http://ow.ly/jkyi) for the full length of the race.

There will also be 249 other bananas, and we aim to break the world record for the most people dressed as fruit in one place.

If you are ready and willing to donate to this crazy endeavour (and worthy cause), this is the best place to do it. I am trying to reach £1,000.01 (because it is a palindrome).
