The Friends of The Wisdom Hospice
The Friends of The Wisdom Hospice supports the work of the only adult hospice serving Medway and Swale in Kent. It makes an annual grant to Medway PCT of £384,000 towards Hospice running costs. In addition it provides extra equipment and facilities that fall outside the PCT budget.

496th place in a time of 2hrs 52mins and 4 secs. 49th for my age category (45-50)

Pleased to beat 3 hours but cramping in the last 2-3 miles meant that I drifted off sub 2.50 pace.

Good news....BAE Systems have pledged £300 !

I appreciate any small donation you can make and have chosen a hospice local to me that depends upon donations like this to enable it to continue it's specialist, palliative care for individuals and their families facing the diagnosis of a life threatening disease.

It was opened in 1984, the vision of a local resident Molly Wisdom, after she was diagnosed with cancer and recognised the need for a hospice in the area.

Their aim is "to relieve the symptoms of advanced disease in order to maintain an optimum quality of life".
