Story

In 2000 my great friend, Brett Whiting, died tragically as the result of an epileptic seizure. Sadly Brett was only 25 when he was so cruelly taken from us.

He had just finished a college course in agriculture, was a keen Young Farmer, a Norwich City FC fanatic and a true 'bon viveur'. Larger than life, he made a lasting impression on all who knew him. He had so much to offer, and life had so much to offer him.

It is a tragic fact that people of all ages all over Britain are being diagnosed and treated for epilepsy every day, and so little is known about the illness. That is why I am running for Epilepsy Action. By supporting them you will be helping those diagnosed with epilepsy to cope and live with the disease.

Sincere thanks to Andrew and Sinead Merron and all at Camp Beaumont London Day Camps for their wonderful support in being my official shirt sponsors for the race.

Please follow Andrew and Sinead and all my other generous sponsor's example, and help Epilepsy Action to help sufferers of epilepsy to have the life that they deserve.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Epilepsy Action will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support.
