Hi everyone, When we first started planning the wedding, we soon realised that one of the things we had to think about was a gift list. Many of you are travelling long distances and we are simply grateful that you can be with us. We realise that some of you will still want to give a gift to mark the day. Instead of a gift list, we have set up a webpage (www.justgiving.com/gemmaandstephen) with Medecins San Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) where a donation can be made, in celebration of our wedding. Alternatively, for the technophobic, you can phone 0800 731 6732. Please let them know that you are donating on our behalf. We chose MSF simply because they will treat anyone, anywhere. Their mission statement is a hard one to argue with, and they provide expert medical relief to victims of war, disasters and epidemics in 80 countries around the world, giving help to those who need it most. We appreciate that you many of you may feel that this is a somewhat impersonal gift, and that you would prefer something more traditional, but we have lived together for such a long time that we would have to be incredibly inventive to come up with any list (Our range of kitchen utensils is now so vast we have had to buy an extra wardrobe for them!) . We have friends and family who have worked and travelled to some of the areas that MSF typically deal with and we know that this contribution could make a greater impact to lives there than to ours here. We really hope that you can join us on the 25th and we look forward to welcoming you all, Lots of love Gemma and Stephen xx
