About our charity : Erskine Erskine
Erskine (formerly Erskine Hospital) was founded in 1916 to care for the wounded returning from World War I. Today, the charity provides unrivalled respite and long term care for young and old ex-Service men and women throughout Scotland. Over 70,000 have been cared for by Erskine and demographics indicate there is demand for places up to at least 2020.

Our personal message:

The Royal Artillery Troop of the City of Edinburgh Universities Officers' Training Corps (CEUOTC) consists of students from Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt, Napier and Queen Margaret Universities. All of our officer cadets are trained to use the L118 105mm Light Gun, taking part regularly in exercises with the Territorial and Regular Army and conducting Royal Salutes at Edinburgh Castle and Gibraltar.

 

On the 31st May 2009 members of the Troop will take part in the Edinburgh Marathon on behalf of Erskine, who provide support to ex-members of the Armed Forces. Erskine care for a wide variety of people who have served in all conflcits including recent operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Please help us support Esrkine in the fantastic job they do providing first-class care for ex-service men and women.

 

The Royal Artillery Troop has 4 individual runners and a relay team taking part in the marathon. This page can be used to sponsor the relay team, and each of our fellow individual runners can be sponsored from one of the links below, please sponsor them.
