Our personal message:

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

On the weekend of 17th to 19th July a group of nine of Chris's close friends will ride from Workington to Sunderland on the Sustrans C2C bike trail to raise funds for the Sue Ryder Care charity following Chris's exceptional care and support at Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds.

The 147 mile Sustrans route from Irish to North Seas will be attempted in two and a half days and pubs may be visited also, to drink to Chris's memory in a manner that he would surely have appreciated.

Sore of limb and bottoms the hapless nine endeavor to finish in Sunderland late on Sunday the 19th and hope that you will consider donating generously for this very worthy cause, Sue Ryder Care offer medical, but more importantly, a personal care to those who find a need at a most critical point in their lives, they did not hesitate to help our friend in his time of need and now we can give a little back.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Sue Ryder Care gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.
