Because we serve more than 4,500 UK charities, our fees are far less than the costs of setting up, hosting and running your own secure donation and fundraising site.

Our transaction fee

We charge 5% commission on gross donations (donation + Gift Aid), plus VAT. Card transaction fees are passed on to you at cost price. Here's a table to show how commission, transaction fees and VAT affect donations made through Justgiving:

After deduction of our transaction fee you still receive almost £12 for every £10 donated — with no admin burden! According to independent website CharityFacts.org, offline fundraising costs 15p—25p in every £1 — so our 5% fee means more money to spend on your cause.
