In 2003, when I was 18, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
But I’m one of the lucky ones. Thanks to successful treatment, I recovered – and now I’m passionate about helping people with lymphoma and other blood cancers, which is why I’m supporting Leukaemia Research and their work into improving treatments, finding cures and preventing blood cancers. I have been involved in my own charity, The Delta Goodrem Leukaemia and Lymphoma Trust Fund in Australia, and now that I’ve spent more time in the UK I am thrilled to be involved in raising money for research over here.
This year I’ll be appearing live at the Alternative Hair Show at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on 14 October, the annual fundraising event of the hairdressing industry worldwide.
