Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In recent years we are becoming aware of cancer affecting more and more people, so when it becomes a part of your own life it makes you sit up and realise you want to do something to help the charity in raising funds.

I lost my Grandad to cancer,my dad has recently had a lump removed from his lung and a young lad who plays for my football team has also been diagnosed and been treated for cancer.

So thats why I am raising funds for cancer research. I will be attempting the London Marathon for the second time in April 2009.
