Into the final week, its really scary how quickly the big day arrives after months of mental and physical preparation. Have encountered some late knee problems this week which is a real worry but at least the cooler air in the UK has made the recent runs more pleasureable and l just hope my knees dont fail me after all this. I am told that 80% of it is winning the psychological battle. Anyway thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page. Its truly amazing how generous people have been and its certainly inspired me to keep focussed on getting through this race in good shape. I am very excited to be running my first marathon on behalf of the Prostate Cancer charity - I'm doing this for many reasons, primarily for my father who was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and also several friends who have been affected by it. The money raised funds vital research and provide support networks. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Prostate Cancer Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
