Blimey! I never thought i would be doing this...EVER. I have never been into endurance; always avoided cross countrys', hill runs and all that - nothing over 800 metres for me.Crossing the oceans in the trade winds with a vino in hand is my kind of 'endurance'.But now at 60, i have gone stupido and decided to do something I would never do.. .I looked at various options and biking was in the 'hard basket' but had the advantage that as i would be on my arse ..er literally, I should be able to pull it off? easier on the dodgy knee. I have been training for what seems forever and it still seems daunting...300 miles in 4 days! Sadly it seems i will have to cut my wine consumption for final preparation. I set off on july 22nd. Christian Aid do great work with the poorest of the poor helping to provide clean water, clinics, education, justice, health awareness, small loans etc. Their moto is 'there is life before death'. So give LARGE to help our poorest. I have provided £1100 to cover the minimum target and whatever you provide, I will add the same again. So punish my wallet and motivate me to do the job! Thanks, Chris.
