About our charity : Marie Curie Cancer Care Marie Curie Cancer Care
Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, supported by their families. It runs nine Marie Curie Hospices across the UK offering free specialist care for patients and support for families. The charity conducts palliative care research to find better ways of caring for terminally ill people and also funds scientists who investigate the causes and treatments of cancer. Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We are doing this walk as a joint mother and daughter adventure with a purpose!  It will be a big challenge but we are excited about seeing each other through sweat, joy, fantastic scenery and sore tootsies.

We have chosen this particular charity to remind ourselves of loved ones who have or may find themselves in need of cancer care which affects us all in many ways.

For each £20 raised on this site, a person with terminal illness will receive 1 hour of care from a Marie Curie nurse in the privacy and comfort of their own home.
