My story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

On February 8th 2010 my dad, Charlie Leydon, sadly passed away. The life of my dad was hugely affected by depression and so on July 11th me and 8 other  friends and family are running the British London 10k run in his memory, in aid of The Depression Alliance.

1 in 5 people suffer from depression and although many people don't realise just how bad it can be, it is a serious illness that can have a massive impact upon an individual and those around them.

Depression alliance is a charity that works to support sufferers of depression as well as raising awareness of the illness. It would mean alot to me and my family to raise as much money as possible for this great cause.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Depression Alliance gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks from all of us!
