About the charity : Unicef UK BT Unicef UK BT
BT has launched Inspiring Young Minds in partnership with UNICEF, a global charity programme that has the potential to change the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children around the world. BT and UNICEF have joined forces to bring education, ICT and communication and life skills to children in deprived areas across South Africa (2007/8), Brazil (2008/9) and China (2009/10). All funds raised will help give disadvantaged children the opportunity of a better future.

Thanks for visiting the BT /Unicef fundraising page.

In April 2008, BT and Unicef announced the launch of the second phase of 'Inspiring Young Minds'  targeting Brazil.  The focus is on projects aimed at adolescents living in low-income communities in large urban centres.  The fundraising drive will last throughout 2008/09 and will focus on four flavours of Brazil, which aims to celebrate a widely-recognised aspect of Brazil or Brazilian life - sport, the amazing amazon, Brazilian food & drink and Brazilian culture.
