Thanks for visiting the One British Gas fundraising page for the '2009 London to Brighton Bike Ride'.

8th July : Andrew Smith's great fund raining total of £700 has been added to our offline amount raised.

3rd July : £7,000 has been very generously donated by Ian Peters! This has been added to our offline total.

A big thank you to everyone who has donated to this very worthy cause. We have far exceeded our greatest expectations - well over £24,000 and with Gift Aid that makes us over £27,000!! It is an unbelievable effort... many thanks to all those involved.

Ride Day Message : The BG IS Team had a really enjoyable and successful day on Sunday 21st June. The weather was fine and it was a great day for a ride. Thank you to all who have donated and supported our efforts.

Original Message : As you may know, we've got a large team this year (74 riders plus support people from BG IS) and we're all really excited about taking part in this great event.

The team is being led by British Gas CIO's Dave Bickerton and Aileen Feeney. The event is a great way to get fit and to do something really big for the BHF charity as a team. We've organised custom cycling jerseys which are really eye catching, so we're going to be turning heads on the day!
