My story
Battle Ramblers entered a team into the BHF 1066 Walk on 26 September: we had 7 start early from Pevensey and 2 a little later; 2 joined us from Boreham Street after 3 had left earlier and another 3 left after us walking towards Battle. I was happily fit to do the full 16 miles walk - and we had quite decent weather - a little cooler than last year!
You might guess we were all very happy to have cut our total time, by comparison with last year, completing the walk in 5hr40.
